Role Overview
As our SEO Manager, you will own and drive SEO strategies specifically tailored for home-service businesses. Your primary responsibility will be leading local SEO initiatives, managing technical and content-based SEO projects, and integrating SEO practices with industry-specific platforms like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, and similar CRMs.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams—content specialists, developers, paid media experts, and analytics—to deliver cohesive, high-performing SEO strategies that boost rankings, visibility, and revenue.

Responsibilities
• Local SEO Leadership: Implement and manage local SEO strategies that drive significant increases in rankings, visibility, and lead generation for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and garage door businesses
• CRM & SEO Integration: Utilize and optimize platforms such as ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, and similar home-service CRMs for optimal SEO outcomes.
• Technical SEO Management: Conduct detailed technical audits, oversee schema markup implementations, site-speed improvements, Core Web Vitals enhancements, and overall technical health.
• Content & Keyword Strategy: Lead keyword research, competitor analysis, content gap analyses, and guide the content team in creating high-performing, locally-focused content.
• Analytics & Reporting: Build, manage, and optimize performance dashboards using GA4, Google Tag Manager, AgencyAnalytics, and other local SEO tools. Provide actionable insights from ongoing data analysis.
• Google Business Profile Optimization: Take ownership of Google Business Profile strategies, ensuring maximum visibility in local search results and Google Maps.
• Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our paid media team, developers, and CRO specialists to ensure SEO strategies are seamlessly integrated.

Requirements
• SEO Experience: At least 4 years of experience managing comprehensive SEO strategies.
• Preferred Industry Experience: 1 year of experience working specifically with digital marketing for home-service businesses (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Garage Doors).
• CRM Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise working with home-service industry CRMs like ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro.
• Technical Skills: Strong skills with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, WordPress, schema markup, citation management, and local SEO platforms such as AgencyAnalytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
• Local SEO Expertise: Proven track record of moving home-service brands into the Local 3-Pack and dominating local organic search.
• Analytical Mindset: Experience creating and interpreting SEO performance dashboards, driving strategy through data-driven insights.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate SEO strategy and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
